This stage your child starts to learn new concepts
and ideas -
In Primary school, i.e., Grade I-V, children begin to learn concepts that
form the basis of their understanding of life. This is the time they need to be
eased into comprehending and grasping theoretical ideas that can be stored for
future reference. So before they are taught anything, they need to learn how to
learn.
Students at the primary level therefore, are exposed to myriad learning
tools and stimuli to explore and develop their multiple intelligences. The
primary school classroom looks more like a curiosity studio – with interactive
learning aids, colourful display boards and activity zones. The well-ventilated
and brightly lit classrooms are equipped with comfortable seating arrangements.
Academic development apart, they begin to recognize and build their natural
talents in our scientifically designed teaching aids and facilities in
Audio-Visual and Fine Arts studios.
In this stage your child is ambitious to learn and gain knowledge When once the children are given a taste of knowledge, their curiosity and yearning knows no bounds. They seek answers to all their questions. They sample different subjects to understand what they like the most. They experiment with different activities to discover where their interest lies. And they devour every source of information to pacify their hunger for learning. This is the stage when it’s most important to develop a foundational knowledge that will help them scale the heights of success at the High School level. The Middle School , i.e., Grade VI-VIII at Sri Aurobindo Public School North with varied activities by our well-qualified and experienced mentors help children instill a love for subjects, and encourage them to have an investigative mind to explore the many knowledge banks that open up. Regular assessments and assignments help optimize the learning experience. And parents are kept informed to help guide the children towards positive learning. Full-fledged fitness and sports programs, as well as an array of fine arts activities, including music, dance, dramatics, art, etc. help develop a well-rounded personality in children. At this level, the focus is mainly on the social, personal and intellectual growth of the child.
